It's about living. And after having written over these past few months, it seems to be of stories of my life. Which goes well with whatever ridiculous notions come to mind. If I could change the title, I'd call it Dr. G's Ridiculous life stories. And they may become better since my husband has stopped his reading of this, mostly. . I hope this blog will educate and entertain. I promise to love, honor and obey if you recommend and follow my blog.

#branjelina #fact or #fiction MY 9/15/16 POST SHOULD BE REVISITED.
Hi all,
Whenever the news broke, my husband yelled out from his cave, " Angelina is filing for divorce from Brad".
I screamed back, "oh good. Now she's free."
That's because my husband has a crush on her, well, he did for years and it was funny.
What is ensuing is not funny. I would like you to go back and re-read or browse my post from last week.
The one about how well do we really know anyone.
The only point I'm going to make is about how gossip or rumor is something that can kill.
High school students have committed suicide because being tormented on Facebook. Rumors spread about them hurt so deeply they didn't want to live.
Now, an anonymous tip has led to an investigation of Pitt alleging child abuse.
I was never in their presence. I'm guessing you weren't either.
But now, we have doubt. Could Brad have done these bad things? Does he hit children? Or as we now call it, abuse them?
I hope the police are able to do an actual investigation because now we don't know.
Regardless of what the results are, the seeds of doubt have been planted and will always be there.
AND THIS IS WHY WE SHOULD NEVER, EVER, EVER SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ANOTHER HUMAN BEING. THAT HOLDS TRUE, SOMETIMES EVEN IF WE KNOW IT TO BE A FACT. WE MAY NOT LIKE SOMEONE, BUT TO RUIN A LIFE WITH A RUMOR CAN BE LIKE PULLING THE TRIGGER ON A GUN.

#RobertBurns, #The-best-laid-schemes-of mice-and-men-gang-aft-agley, PLANNING SOMETHING? BEST OF LUCK
I got up early
enough to do some blog writing. I no longer remember what I was going to write
about. So, in the words or Robert Burns, a Scottish poet, I recalled a famous
quote.
Gang aft agley,"
No, I wish I spoke
Gaelic, but nay I dunna.
So, I’ll translate
to the English for those of us less informed.
The best laid schemes of mice and men
go often askew … well, that could be further reduced to
go often askew … well, that could be further reduced to
The best laid plans of mice and men often get fucked. Sorry
for the language.
THE PROBLEM WAS .... my printer wasn’t working.
So, I spent over an hour
getting it reset. I thank the Universe that it was finally fixed. Only, during
that period of time, all I could think about was how Burns was right.
People
plan.
Well, most of us, I suppose plan. And then, as John Lennon wrote, “Life is what
happens when you’re busy making other plans”.
Got to hand it to the folks on the British Isles. They got some wisdom
there.
HYPOTHESIS:
One
can make plans but one should be prepared to change them at a moment’s notice.
That’s
really all I have to say. This week end my friend told me that when she opens
my blog, and it’s long, she closes it to read later. We know what that means.
Life
doesn’t always have a “later”. So, while you plan, keep a spare idea in your back
pocket.
And
try not to be like me and get nuts when it happens. I want to learn to expect
things to not go my way. That will help.
Foot note:
The Poem was written to a mouse. Burns overturned a nest while tilling a field and
wrote about it. The last verse is below, and translates to*
The present only toucheth thee:
But och! I backward cast my e'e,
On prospects drear!
An' forward, tho' I canna see,
I guess an' fear!
But och! I backward cast my e'e,
On prospects drear!
An' forward, tho' I canna see,
I guess an' fear!
*Animals
live only in the present. We should too.
Thanks for Reading.
